“ | Um, we have not any clue on what really happened, though some witnesses said that early in the morning that same day, an unknown person went into the factory and... Uhh... Yeah, nobody really knew who that person was or anything, and the weird thing is, he never came out of the factory either. We also had a Wario costume in the back room, you know for mascot purposes, and the weird thing, uhh, that costume actually disappeared on that same day. So we don't really know where it is... | ” |
— Phone Guy describing the Wario Man costume, as well as Bruno Gate as an “unknown person”.

Wario Man (real name Bruno Gate, the man inside the Wario Man costume.) is one of the Easter Eggs and one of the achievement conditions in Five Nights at Wario's. He is a easter egg character that appears in the certain cameras at random. He only became important to the story until we heard the quote above from the phone guy from the first game and in the third game. The man inside the costume's full name wouldn't be revealed until an outdated Full Story of Five Nights at Wario's which was made in 2017 on WwwWario's youtube channel.
Physical Appearance[]
Wario Man is the costumed version of Wario, who only seems to appear in specific rooms on rare occasions. He looks exactly like Wario-Man from Super Smash Bros. Brawl but with blank eyes. He remains the same in all the games, he only appears with pupils in Origins and Five Shows, and the costume appears empty with no one inside it for the first time in the third game.Five Nights at Wario's[]
So far, he does not appear to be dangerous, since he has not been seen attacking the player, nor in any room besides the Bathrooms (FNAW1). Wario-Man is just a mysterious character, even though he was only mentioned by the Phone Guy. When he appears, the Bathrooms' camera feed will flicker, allowing the player to see the room.
Five Nights at Wario's 2[]
Wario-Man will rarely appear for a split second in the player's vision, with the lightning flashes. He appears during the storm. Wario-Man is still just a mysterious character.
Five Nights at Wario's 3[]
In the opening of the game Bruno Gate says "I can use this...", In Night 5, if the player uses the Music Box, Wario-Man and the plumbers (Wario, Waluigi, Mario and Luigi) gather. Wario-Man presents himself to apologize for what he did. As Wario and Co. are sent to heaven, Bruno Gate was sent to hell for doing what he did, as he regretted his decisions. What he did exactly isn't revealed in the third game, but sometimes he can be seen on the camera in Living Room 3.
Five Nights at Wario's: Origins[]
Wario-Man returns in Five Nights at Wario's: Origins. This time, however, he is an active antagonist.
He is only active at Night 6, where the player returns to The Office from the first game in the franchise. He is the only enemy to worry about, but he is extremely active and can enter both the left door and the window on the right. The player will need to watch the cameras very carefully to know which way Wario Man is coming.
When the player beats Night 6, Wario and Co. are shown dead, their vengeful spirits are shown to come back to their bodies, Wario-Man says that he's got the recipe, but he hears a noise from behind him, so he turns around to see that Wario and Co. are back alive to kill Wario-Man, as revenge, even though they already killed him, they are still searching for "the one", the one is Bruno Gate.Five Shows at Wario's[]
Wario-Man is mentioned several times in Five Shows at Wario's, but this time, your playing as the man without the costume, Bruno Gate, He was the one responsible for everything, as it was all his fault, he wanted to steal the recipe for unknown reasons to help his sick daughter, Eve.Characters | |
