Wario and Waluigi went to work and as you probably have heard somewhere, they went missing. They never came back from work and they never came out of the factory...

— Phone guy in Night 3 telling Richard McRoy what happened to Waluigi.

Waluigi is the secondary antagonist of the Five Nights at Wario's series, as well as the second most recurring character. Originally running a fast food factory with his friend, Wario, they were killed one night at work and came back as vengeful spirits, along with Mario, Luigi and Peach, now haunting the player who they believe is responsible for their deaths.

Physical Appearance[]

Waluigi essentially look like the character from the Super Mario games with a few differences. He, unlike the others, seems to be unusually tall and can be found crouching or squatting to fit within some locations. Much like Wario, one of the changes from his original design is his white eyes, as well as his arms being a bit longer. He pretty much remains almost unchanged throughout the entire series.

In the second game, Waluigi now has blood dripping from his mouth.

In the third game, Waluigi has more blood dripping from his mouth, The blood is also slightly dried out.

In Origins, Waluigi has cuts on his face and he lost the blood dripping from his mouth.

In the fourth game, Waluigi retains his first game's design, except his arms are now the normal length.

In the Director's Cut, Waluigi has his appearance from the first game with his longer arms and scratches on his face/clothes, except his model is higher quality, and he is now covered in dust.

Five Nights at Wario's[]

Waluigi becomes active at Night 1.

He starts in Entrance 1, then goes through the Machinery, the Bathrooms, and the Office Exit, before attempting to go into The Office. Upon seeing him outside the door, the player must immediately shut it, otherwise he'll jam the door and the lights and eventually kill them. If he jams the lights and the door, he'll jumpscare the player whether they pull up the monitor or not.

He makes what sounds like a slowed down laughter while he is in the Bathroom. In the Office Exit, unlike Wario, Waluigi doesn't make a noise when opening the door.

Five Nights at Wario's 2[]

Waluigi returns in Five Nights at Wario's 2. He becomes active at Night 1.

He goes through the Entry Staircase, Machinery, Studio, and Office Entry, before attempting to go into The Office. Upon appearing in there, the player must enter the Backroom and make no noise, which means no charging the Generator. Failing to do these steps will likely result in a quick death, causing a game over.

In Classic Mode, Waluigi's path twoards you the same, except the way you have to defend yourself from him is the same as the first game.

Five Nights at Wario's 3[]

Waluigi returns in Five Nights at Wario's 3. He makes his possible first appearance at Night 3.

Night 3[]

Bedroom[]

Waluigi starts in the Laundry. He then goes to the Hallway, and hides behind the curtain of the Bedroom. To fend him off, the player must turn on the lamp and keep it on until he walks away.

Living Room 2[]

Waluigi starts in the Playroom. He moves through Bedroom 2 and the Hallway, before standing in front of the player's current location. To fend him off, the player must turn the light on.

Night 4[]

Hallway[]

Waluigi starts in the Bathroom. He then enters Living Room 2, before eventually reaching the player's current location from the left path and attacking them. The player must listen carefully to his footsteps and, when they are heard in Living Room 2, block the left path.

Laundry[]

Waluigi starts in the Bathroom. He moves through the Kitchen and the Living Room before standing right behind the player's current location. As he moans, the player must stay perfectly still for a while. It is not possible to hear him if the washing machine is turned on.

Living Room 3[]

Waluigi starts in the Kitchen. He moves through the Living Room and the Laundry before standing in the middle of the player's current location. To keep him away, the player must cut off the lights of a room from his path he hadn't reached yet. If Waluigi manages to reach Living Room 3, the player can only hope for the clock to ring in the beginning of the next hour, which will make him leave.

Night 5[]

In the Cellar, Waluigi will sometimes appear in front of the player. To fend him off, the player must flash the electricity to make him go away.

Five Nights at Wario's: Origins[]

Waluigi (also known as Waluigi Spirit) makes his fourth appearance in Five Nights at Wario's: Origins. He becomes active at Night 4.

Waluigi moves every time the player moves. With the help of their flashlight, the player must reveal Waluigi's presence and, if he is standing in the same room, must leave the said room.

Five Nights at Wario's 4[]

Waluigi makes his fifth appearance in Five Nights at Wario's 4. He becomes active at Night 4.

On Night 4 and onwards, Waluigi will appear on channels 1,6, or 5 at random. When he appears, the player will need to quickly change channels.

On Week 2, Waluigi will not appear on the TV. Instead, he will be seen in the hallway behind the player. If the player hears Waluigi's footsteps, they will need to shine the flashlight on him to scare him away, or else he will break the TV. Waluigi only kills the player if they are outside the TV for too long.

Five Shows at Wario's[]

Waluigi makes his sixth and final appearance in Five Shows at Wario's. He can be seen in The Factory game mode and in the Final Show as a playable character.

In The Factory Standard Mode, he is active whenever you hide in the Office, Freezing Room, Entrance 1, Entrance 2, and Control Room.

The Factory[]

Office[]

Waluigi starts in Entrance 1, he moves to the Storage, to the Freezing Room, to the Office Exit, and then to your Office. If he is in the left doorway, close the door on him, otherwise, he will jumpscare you if you don't.

Control Room[]

Waluigi will start in Entrance 1, he moves to the Storage, to the Freezing Room, to the Office Exit, to the Office, and then to your room. If he is in the Office, you must scan the room, if it gives you a choice between purple and green, pick purple for Waluigi. If you scan it at the wrong time, it goes through a slow reboot, making you vulnerable to Waluigi or Luigi. Upon pressing the purple button, he will be shocked and sent back to his starting room. Pressing the wrong button or waiting for too long to scan the room will result in him attacking.

Freezing Room[]

Waluigi starts in the Control Room, he moves to the Office, to the Office Exit, and then to your room. Once he gets into your room, he will kill you immediately. You can send him back to his starting room by turning the building temperature to Hot.

Entrance 1[]

Waluigi will silently appear at the end of the hallway in Entrance 1, you must time the flash or else your power will take a big hit, you can charge the power by using the monitor. If you are too late to flash him, he will kill you.

Entrance 2[]

Waluigi is sleeping in the Cellar, he will start to wake up, if he fully wakes up and is gone from the room, he will slowly walk towards your destination via the window shadow. To defend against him, you must turn off the lights before he reaches the door. He will be sent back, otherwise, he will kill you. In the event that Wario is also moving to the room you can use a Music Box in the Cellar to repel him back, which needs charging after use of it.

Final Show[]

He appears as a playable character whenever you achieve the 'Sneaky As Mr. Cat' achievement and achieving the 'Crossing The Gap' achievement unlocks his alternate skin.
