Five Nights At Warios fangame Wiki

The Characters (also known as spirits or ghosts) are the antagonists in Five Nights at Wario's, Five Nights at Wario's 2, Five Nights at Wario's 3, Five Nights at Wario's: Origins and Five Nights at Wario's 4.

Weaknesses[]

  • Bright lights seem to be an effective defense against nearby ghosts, however they can also lure the ghosts to the player.
  • Loud noises seem to work similar than Bright lights, but they are quite ineffective though.
  • Ghosts do not seem to enter a pitch black room.
  • Ghosts can be pacified via avoiding eye contact completely during a few seconds. (This only works on specific circumstances)
  • Watching ghosts trough a camera seems to lure them away for unknown reasons.
  • Hiding is proven to be really effective as long as the player makes no noise.
  • Blocking the Ghost´s path via industrial doors is one of the most effective defenses.
  • For an unknown reason, they refuse to attack kids.

Ghosts[]

Wario[]

He is always the first ghost to show up (usually appearing on Night 1) and seems to be the most aggressive one as the week progresses.

Main article: Wario

Waluigi[]

He is usually the second/third ghost to show up, and is rarely not seen with Wario in the earlier titles. He seems to be faster than the rest (not counting Toad, who sprints.)

Luigi[]

He is usually the second/third ghost to show up, he seems to be depressed causing his movement to be slightly slower than his brother and friends.

Peach[]

She is usually the fourth ghost to show up. She is absent in Five Nights at Wario's 3 due to possessing Richard McRoy, and she seems to be slightly slower than her friends.

Mario[]

He is usually the last ghost to show up, he seems to have the ability to transport himself through electronic devices such as computers, tvs, and sometimes, the darkness. He seems to always approach in stages.

Main article: Mario

Toad[]

He is the fastest ghost of the bunch, also seemingly having certain intelligence as he waits for the right moment to attack. He hides in the tool storage, due to being afraid of Bowser.

Main article: Toad

Bowser[]

He is the largest ghost of the bunch, he is the only ghost who kills for pure evil instead of revenge. He was cursed by Wario, but was released after the events of the 2nd game.

Main article: Bowser

Ashley[]

She got "corrupted" by Wario, she has no distinct behavior. She is one of the least common characters in the 3rd game, only appearing in the Bathroom and the Staircase.

Yoshi[]

He got "corrupted" by Wario, he has no distinct behavior, asides from being the most aggressive of all the characters in the rooms he's in.

Main article: Yoshi

Wario man/Bruno gate[]

He is the one who (accidentally) started the cycle via killing Wario & co. Despite being the murderer, he is the only ghost to not be a threat to the player, with the exception of the Sixth Night of Origins.

Trivia[]

  • Being spirits/ghosts, they have the ability to disappear from the building entirely, which is caused when they're in their starting position and move back a room.
  • As mentioned by Phone Guy in FNAW 3 and shown in both the Kitchen and Playroom, ghosts are attracted by distant bright lights. However on the flipside, shining bright lights into their faces can make them go away.
  • Even though they're murderous, cold-blooded vengeful spirits, they are unwilling to harm children. This is expressed in the Playroom where they stay away from the player when all music boxes are wound, due to thinking kids are in there.
  • They probably have bad hearing, since they can't hear 1 music box, so you need to have 2 active for them to hear it.
  • However, they are able to hear the generator from the office.
  • Watching them on the cameras helps slow their movements down (and sometimes even helps make them go back).
  • Oddly despite being more active in the dark (as stated by FNAW 2 phone guy), they won't enter another room if it's completely pitch black.
    • This is possibly because they change their attack methods to mess with whoever they are attacking. Especially if whoever they are attacking moves into a different room.
  • Five Shows at Wario's is the only game in the series in which none of the ghosts are present, as only the VIRUS characters are. (The DLC will make this no longer the case, though.)
  • Donkey Kong is the only character that is not a ghost instead he's an hallucination
