Donkey Kong (also known as DK) is an antagonist in Five Nights at Wario's 3. He was originally shown in a teaser image. He's described as a hallucination that happens because of "side effects" caused by taking medicines in the Bathroom during Night 2.

Physical Appearance[]

His skin and fur are more red/orange and have a fire-y like texture, with two white eyes without pupils. In some areas of his body, mainly his arms and legs, there are white spots. He is also missing his trademark "DK" necktie.

In the Director's Cut, Donkey Kong resembles his original self from the actual games, except his skin and hair are now pure red, his eyes are empty and black, he is also missing his necktie.

Five Nights at Wario's 3[]

Donkey Kong will only be active on Night 3 if the player hides in Bedroom 2. Randomly, when looking at the cameras, changing cameras, or pulling the Monitor down, he will have appeared. If seen on the cameras, the player must switch to another camera or put away the Monitor. If he appears in the room, the player must pull the Monitor up to stop him. Looking at him for too long will trigger his jumpscare. Rather than ending the game, he will cause the player to blink fast and make loud roars, luring Wario to get closer.

Five Shows at Wario's[]

Donkey Kong makes his second and final appearance in Five Shows at Wario's Director's Cut, as an enemy in The Factory.

Donkey Kong only appears in The Storage during The Factory's standard mode, and functions identically to how he did in FNAW3. You only have a second to look away from him before he jumpscares you, making your view fade in and out.

Trivia[]

  • Donkey Kong is the only character in the entire Five Nights at Wario's series who doesn't kill the player
  • Donkey Kong's original model is called "Fire DK." You can get the model from Brawlbox, however, he is a retexture with the tie having a Fire Logo on his tie, similar to Luigi.EXE, Zombie Yoshi, and Slain Bowser.
  • The reason why he has white spots on him is actually because of a Brawlbox error with transparent textures, the same thing happens with Bowser's hair.
  • Donkey Kong is the least active character in the entire series, only appearing on one night.
  • Donkey Kong is the only character not in the Custom Night.
